SocialListeningAPI supplies public search data. Claude or ChatGPT performs the summary, comparison, and other model-generated analysis.

Research without a large social listening subscription

A full social listening platform can be expensive when you only need focused research. SocialListeningAPI uses one-time credit packs, and the credits do not expire. You can run a search when you need one instead of paying for a large monitoring suite every month.

This fits topic research, competitor research, customer-language research, and finding relevant public conversations. Choose a dedicated social listening platform if you need native dashboards, continuous monitoring, scheduled alerts, sentiment analysis, or complete historical coverage.

Current limits

Results depend on public source availability and may not cover every matching post. The MCP does not provide continuous monitoring, alerts, reply automation, native sentiment analysis, or lead scoring. Discourse search is available through the HTTP API and is not available through the MCP. The raw option defaults to false.
